As a very seasoned mom of a six-month-old, I would like to share all that I did or wished I had done to make the transition into parenthood a little smoother.

Even though I am now living the life I always dreamed of, I still find myself thinking, "I will finally be happy when..." If you can relate to this, I hope this new way of looking at life can be as inspiring to you as it is for me.

Perhaps, like me, you have gotten frustrated with yourself for being "too lazy" or "too unmotivated" to accomplish the very goals you set for yourself. But what if the real reason for your procrastination is a deep fear of failure, which you can overcome?

I had always assumed that to keep up with life's expenses, I needed to work and earn more. I’d never considered that I could learn to live on less and free up time to pursue other dreams. After all, don't most of us already have more than we need?

If you are anything like me (the title should give you an idea), then you have experienced the crippling fear of disappointing people and failing at being perfect. But the good news is, it doesn’t have to be that way.

If you have ever hated yourself for being unproductive or experienced guilt instead of enjoyment during your free time, then I hope that some of the thoughts in this article will be a breath of fresh air for you.
